William C. Gruben was named by Newsweek one of the "new breed of American humorists". His most recent works, "The Last History of Fatigue in Texas" and "The Dangers of Honky Tonk Dancing" appeared in The Atlantic Monthly. He is the Director of the Center for Latin American Economics at the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas. William C.
