Lynda McDonnell is a journalist, poet and essayist who lives in Minneapolis with her husband and two sons. She has been a Nieman Fellow at Harvard University, received a Bush leadership grant and won a Marcella DeBourg award from the University of Minnesota, where she is receiving her masters degree in creative writing. Her work has been published in The Wall Street Journal, Hudson Review, Loonfeather, Hungry Mind Review, and elsewhere.
